Quick Setup and Timetable Import¶
Quick Setup is the fastest way to create the first working version of a timetable. You can build manually, import a timetable source, or import selected JSON backup data.
Add subjects and lessons manually¶
- Open Quick Setup.Use it when prompted after onboarding, or when the app says the timetable is empty.
- Add subjects.Choose a name, icon, color, optional default room, notes, and reminder preferences if needed.
- Move to the lessons step.Add each lesson after the subject list is ready.
- Set lesson details.Choose subject, day, start time, end time, repeat pattern, room, and class group if needed.
- Review before saving.Check the list, then tap Done.
Why subjects come first
Subject details appear throughout the timetable, widgets, Watch views, reminders, and summaries. Consistent subject colors and names make the whole app easier to scan.
Teacher setup
Teacher mode does not require saved class groups before lessons. Type a group or room directly on a lesson, or save it for reuse if you will teach that group again.
Import a timetable image, scan, PDF, or file¶
- Open Quick Setup and tap Import Timetable.
- Choose Scan with Camera or Choose Image or File.
- Wait while ClassConnect S reads and analyses the timetable.
- Answer follow-up questions about groups, sets, weeks, or period times.
- Review detected subjects and lessons.
- Tap Apply only after the review looks correct.
Review imports carefully
Import results can need manual cleanup if the source image is cropped, blurry, includes several class groups, or uses unusual period labels.

Import backup data during setup¶

- Select the sections to import.
- Confirm the import.
- Review the timetable before relying on reminders or widgets.
After import¶
Check these areas before you finish setup:
- Subject names and colors.
- Lesson start and end times.
- Week cycle and current week.
- Rooms and teachers.
- Duplicate lessons.
- Events or holidays that should override normal lessons.
