Troubleshooting

Use these checks before deleting data or recreating a timetable.

iCloud Sync is unavailable

  • Confirm the device is signed in to iCloud.
  • Check network access.
  • Open Settings and try Sync again.
  • If iCloud is temporarily unavailable, wait and retry.

Notifications are not arriving

  • Open iOS Settings and allow notifications for ClassConnect S.
  • Turn on Enable notifications inside ClassConnect S.
  • Check subject reminder settings.
  • In Parent mode, check per-student and per-subject notification settings.

The timetable week is wrong

  • Check the timetable cycle length in Settings.
  • Set the current or anchor week to match your school calendar.
  • Review holiday reset settings after long breaks.

Imported timetable data is wrong

  • Use a clearer source image or PDF.
  • Answer import follow-up questions with exact class, group, set, or week information.
  • Edit subjects and lessons manually after applying the import.

Parent or friend copy looks old

  • Ask the timetable owner to open ClassConnect S so new data can sync.
  • Use Resync with this parent or Resync with this friend if shown.
  • Create a new invite code if access was removed or the old invite expired.

Widgets or Apple Watch show old data

  • Open ClassConnect S on the main device.
  • Confirm the timetable is correct.
  • Wait briefly for extension data to refresh.
  • Remove and re-add the widget only if the data remains stale after opening the app.
