Appearance, Backups, Reset Tools, and Full Access

Advanced settings let you personalize the timetable, export data, import selected backup sections, reset selected data, and restore purchases.

Appearance, profiles, and app icons

Personalisation settings change how the app looks and how timetable profiles appear.

  • Appearance settings can use system, light, or dark mode.
  • Theme color changes the app accent color.
  • Compact timetable view makes timetable days denser.
  • Infinite scroll automatically loads more timetable days.
  • Profile detail screens let you rename your own profile or shared profiles.
  • Profile icons can use symbols, emoji, initials, or be removed.
  • Alternate app icons may be available, with some requiring Full Access or special eligibility.

Export a JSON backup

  1. Open Settings and then Advanced.
  2. Tap Export data (JSON).
  3. Authenticate if asked.
  4. Choose which sections to include.
  5. Save the JSON file somewhere safe.

Import a JSON backup

  1. Open Settings and then Advanced.
  2. Tap Import backup (JSON).
  3. Authenticate if asked.
  4. Choose the backup file.
  5. Select the sections to import.
  6. Confirm.

Unselected app data remains unchanged.

Reset selected data

  1. Open Advanced Settings.
  2. Choose the reset option for lessons only, lessons and subjects, holidays, or events.
  3. Read the confirmation message.
  4. Authenticate and confirm only if you want that data deleted.

Reset App

Reset App removes settings and app data. Use it only when you intentionally want to start over.

Full Access and Restore Purchases

ClassConnect S uses a one-time Full Access purchase for premium capabilities.

Access area Applies to What it means
Free or included Daily Summary and Live Activities These are available under the current premium policy.
Limited free use Parent Sync, Friend Sync, events, holidays The first use or a small number of items may be free; Full Access removes limits.
Full Access iCloud multi-device viewing, JSON backup, Watch customisation, appearance customisation, advanced notifications, App Shortcuts Unlock the feature from the Full Access screen.
Restore Purchases Full Access screen Use after reinstalling, changing devices, or when the app does not show your existing purchase.

If a feature is blocked, the app shows the Full Access screen focused on that feature. Restore Purchases does not create a new purchase; it checks for an existing entitlement.
